Message from Iara:
I have moved to the mid-Hudson valley and am currently awaiting my NY massage licensure, which should come through around Feb 2023. In the meantime please see my virtual Arvigo offerings, and inquire about postpartum healing services.
Hello! My name is Iara (pronounced "Yara"), and I am an Oregon Licensed Massage Therapist, #23904.
I love how massage therapy allows me to blend the cerebral with the intuitive and creative.
I care deeply about your experience and supporting your body autonomy. I believe strongly in the health benefits of regular positive touch. I want clients to know that each session is co-created and not done to you, but with you.
I bring to you a diverse background of studies and experiences that inform the work I do with you. My training in, and love for midwifery carves out a special place in my heart for bodywork related to the perinatal year, including fertility, prenatal, labor, and postpartum.
I am committed to creating a welcoming and therapeutic environment for folks from all walks of life, and welcome all ages, genders, body types, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, religions, and abilities.
I strive for you leave your sessions with less pain and tension than before. In addition, I wish for you to feel listened-to, nourished, and supported.
Feel free to reach out and see if a session with Iara Massage & Bodywork is a good fit for you!
